     A blush of color
brightens the winter-grey fields.
     Arrival of Spring.

A second poem also written today. The weather was nice and warm for a change, so this was inspired.:-)

Man, I wish I had your imgaery skills. :O This one's really nice, I like the comparison of a blush with how spring slowly creeps out of winter. Of course, around here, spring usually either comes along slooowly or hits us like a brick wall. XD; Really ice work though, it was nice to read when spring's finally arrived here. =)

Thank you, Darkest-of-Days.:-) Speaking of Spring's arrival...goodness--it's like we skipped Spring this year, and went straight into Summer with these high temperatures!:-o

I know, right? XD My mom and some of my friends are Science teachers, they say the Earth goes through these cycles where the seasons and weather get all muddled up. XD;

Not that I'll complain about warm weather. ;)

never been a fan of spring myself, it just signals the arrival of insanely hot and humid weather :P this is lovely though, I luv how you can describe something so beautifuly with just a few simple words.

Yeah, I'm ambivalent about Spring, sometimes, because of this, too.:nod: Also, although I like the natural world, I sometimes get annoyed with certain aspects of it, like some insects, hense, I wrote the "Bounty of Summer" haiku to prepare myself for "The Insect Invasion.":giggle: The main problem, ironically, is that it's sometimes harder to convey what you want, though, with so few words, which is why I like this form of poetry, for this particular challenge.:-)

I would, but for one thing I don't have the patience for it, lol I used to try and write poetry all the time, although most of it was the cliche every stanza must rhyme type stuff, I think one poem out of all of them turned out half way decent but it was so emo XD Anyway, no, no patience X3
I'll tell my Thomas to write one for me, rofl XD
